Agaete is located in the Northwest of Gran Canaria, the other point of the island were the wind gets more speed, during the trade winds. With NE wind and no waves it’s an easy spot. But when is wavy it have a right wave in front of the wavebrake broking closer to the rocks. So, it became a difficult spot. With SW is on – shore, perfect for freeride.

How to arrive: From Las Palmas take the GC – 2, way to Puerto de las Nieves. The spot located just above the port.
Galdar is a wave riding spot located in the NW of Gran Canaria, with difficult conditions, due to the fact that the power of the waves, currents and unstable winds. With SW the spot is in Bocabarranco, a sand beach. It looks easy but there is full of rocks and a sewage pipe, which are easy to hit with the fins.

Location: Northwest coast of Gran Canaria, GaldarHow to arrive: In the GC – 2, exit 25 (Galdar, Sardina) way to Sardina, GC – 202. In the GC – 202, exit Playa de Bocabarranco (the beach is located to 700 meters from the exit).
San Andrés coast is well – known to be the North surf zone of the island. There are many spots, a bit difficult for windsurfing owing to the power waves, strong currents, unstable winds, and the rocky entry and exit to the water. It’s really important to respect the surfers.

Location: North coast of Gran Canaria, San Andrés
Media Luna is waveriding spot. It works with NW winds. It is a medium level beach owing to be a narrow beach with rocks in both sides. There are strong currents and gusty winds. It’s a kitesurfing zone, but is also able the windsurfing.

Playa de Ojos de Garza is a wave spot for jumping and riding. Normally is less windy and more wavy than Pozo or Vargas.On the right side is zone with a strong and heavy shorebreak, take extra care specially with high tide. One of the spots with the most localism.

How to arrive: While on Gc-1 direction south take exit number 18(Carrizal, GC 191). On the second roundabout turn to the left, direction El Burrero. On the same street after more or less 500m on next roundabout turn to the left, towards see. Continue until town finished and on the left is a beach.
Wave spot(NE, port tack), known for more side shore conditions than Pozo Izquierdo, better for wave riding. It works with the same wind directions like Pozo Izquierdo, but usually for 0.5m bigger sail. Also knows as a beach where Philip Koster lived and trained. With wind from S-SW(starboard tack, side off shore) is really flat water spot good even for beginners. During low tide is nice and easy spot, but with high tide there is very powerful and dangerous shore break.

Localization: Southeast coast of Gran Canaria, CarrizalHow to arrive: From highway GC-1 direction South, take exit Carrizal(18), just after Airport. Continue on ¨old road¨(GC 191) in direction of Cruce de Arinaga. Shortly after leaving Carrizal turn to the left on the roundabout(hard to not notice, it has 3 white sails on it) and continue all the time straight until reaching beach.
Bahía de Formas is a wide half sandy half rocky beach that is one of the most consistent places in the world for windsurfing and it is normally possible to windsurf at this spot around 330 days a year.
The water is totally flat and perfect for beginnerses and all levels of windsurfing , slalomers and freestylers foil.

Localization: East coast of Gran Canaria, Muelle Arinaga. Pozowinds Pro center is located right on the beach with daly lessons and a big range of the newest windsurfing equipment on the market for rent everything from Foil to slalom freeride freestyle and wave equipment.
Pozo Izquierdo is one of the most well known wave spots in the world, thanks to PWA Tour event which take place here every year. From April until Abril, Trade Wind(Alisio, NE) is passing through the Canary Islands. It gives us almost daily very strong side on shore winds conditions (perfect for jumping and waveriding) for sail sizes 3,4-4,2. During the rest of the year are also the Northeast trade winds blowing in Pozo, very often little bit lighter for sails sizes : 4.2-5.3), but often with bigger ground swells that actully makes the winter season epic for those sailors who wants bigger waves.

How to arrive: From highway GC-1 take an exit Vecindario – Pozo Izquierdo. On the roundabout take 3rd exit to the left and continue all the time straight until city finished and on the last possible roundabout turn to the left to cross the highway through bridge. Than all the time straight until reaching beach.
Pozowinds Pro center is located around 30m from beach on the left side of parking place, where you can rent all kinds of windsurfing equipment for sailing.
Spot for wave riding, with see bottom made of volcanic stones and powerful shore break in the end. Conditions are a little bit more side shore than in Pozo, for this is a little bit better for wave riding.

Wave spot, works as well with S-SW wind but as well with ENE. When wind is coming from South West there are side on shore starboard tack conditions. With eastly wind is wave rinding off shore spot. Without waves is really nice freeride, bump and jump spot.

How to arrive: On highway GC-1 direction South, take exit number 31, Juan Grande(GC-500). Once on this road on second roundabout take turn to the left in direction of Castillo del Romeral(GC-501) and continue until a town, where directly on the right side is a restaurante with parking place.

Comfortable and easy spot which works with South and East wind directions. Beach is rocky but normally waves are not getting there, what makes it really good freestyle and freeride spot. It is posible to get with a car to the beach.

How to arrive: On road number GC-500, approximately on 5,5 kilometer there is an entrance to the dirt parking place next to beach. There is no sign for it.

On the beach in Bahía feliz is located Fanatic Boarder Center. It is sandy beach with some stones on the sides of it. Very good spot for freestyle, slalom or freeride.
