A high performance model for good waves, the Spaceship represents decades of R&D by Mike Woo (@woosurfboards). Having previously shaped the Great White Twin for Kelly inspired by the outline of a Great White Shark, Mike and Kelly set out to craft a more conventional outline designed for hold in tubes, turns on rail, and hold in round wave faces from Canggu to Coolangatta.
Unveiled in March 2024 during Kelly`s historic sessions at Kirra, this is Kelly`s favorite shape for good waves, especially reef passes, point breaks, and perfect beach breaks.
